The West Central Community Center is recruiting for a Human Resources and Payroll Specialist. We need a reliable, professional hard worker who is willing to learn and perform a variety of tasks in our HR/Accounting Department. This position is part-time, working 30 hours per week with the possibility of becoming a full-time position. The hours are flexible and may allow scheduling 4 days a week or 5 days a week. This would be ideal for a parent looking to return to the workforce and would like to be off of work when the children are finished with school!

This position provides administrative support to the Human Resources and Accounting Manager. Accounting duties include processing semi-monthly payroll and processing payroll taxes. HR tasks include assistance with: filing systems, recruitment and onboarding tasks, administration of benefits plans, and other clerical duties as needed.

Associate Degree or equivalent work experience required. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, possess strong organizational skills, and will be able to maintain the confidentiality of all personnel matters. Must be a proactive self-starter and a team player who learns quickly! Experience with G-mail suite including Google drive, sites, and applications a plus. A passion for serving our community is a big plus! Any experience in customer service or with underserved populations is also a bonus!
