WIC CLERK/CERTIFIER

 

The West Central Community Center is recruiting for a full-time WIC Clerk/Certifier. As a WIC Team Member, you will perform all duties in a professional manner while taking our WIC participants through the certification process.  You will also learn to provide excellent customer service, breastfeeding support and share information on a variety of health and nutrition topics with our clients.

Our ideal candidate will have general knowledge of computer programs and office procedures, knowledge of the WIC program, and a strong willingness to serve the community with a passion for breastfeeding and positive health outcomes for our diverse WIC families. Preferred candidates have formal education or experience in community health, women’s studies, counseling or health-related field.
