Established in 2013 to raise awareness and much needed funds to support the Youth Development and Recreation program at the West Central Community Center.

 

Young people in our Youth Development programs are assured a safe and compassionate environment where they can thrive.  Sports, art, music, field trips and prevention classes are among many activities provided to kids before and after school and in all-day Summer Camp.

The Community Center serves disadvantaged kids and families in the West Central, Audubon/Downriver and Emerson-Garfield neighborhoods through programs and services focused on the health and well-being of our clients.  Our programs also include WIC, Head Start, Asante Primary Care Health Clinic, and Supportive Services for developmentally disabled adults.

 

This year we will honor Amanda Swan with the Steve Salvatori Dream Builder Award, and Liz Marlin with the Kelly Family Award for Community Service.
