At West Central Community Center, we offer life-enriching services and programs for our community. We provide affordable youth programs for kids ages 5 through 12, health and nutrition services (WIC), programs for people with IDD, and recreation activities for youth and adults.

​

Our building also includes Head Start/ECEAP and Asante Health Medical Practice.

​

The West Central Community Center serves the West Central, Emerson-Garfield, and Audubon/Downriver neighborhoods of Spokane. Everyone is welcome to use our services.​

PROGRAMS WE OFFER

Youth Development

​

Before and After School Program and All-Day Summer Program for kids ages 5 - 12. We provide kids with a safe place with excellent leadership. Kids participate in sports, art, music, positive action class, and more.

Supportive Services

​

Day programs for people with IDD ages 15 and older. The two programs include our Life Skills Center and Community Inclusion. Our program focuses on enriching the lives of our clients through community engagement, social activities, recreation, and more.

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

​

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program is a place where families like yours get healthy food and a lot more. WIC is for pregnant women, new and breast feeding parents, infants, and children under age 5.

When arriving to pick up a coat, please sign in at the check-in table in The Newton conference room.

Please bring a photo ID and any way to verify how the number of children in your family that you are collecting coats for.

As we try to serve as many people as possible, please limit one coat per person. Depending on how many hats, scarves, gloves, and/or boots we receive, please limit those items to one per person.
