ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST AR/AP
We are looking for a reliable, hard worker, who is willing to learn and perform essential tasks in the areas of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Accounting duties include: entering bills and credit card charges for payment into QuickBooks, invoicing clients and funders, managing AR aging, and grant billing. Associate Degree, related certification, or relevant experience required. Must have a strong understanding of basic accounting and be proficient in Excel. This job involves a lot of spreadsheet work! Experience with QuickBooks, two years minimum accounts receivable, and one year of accounts payable required for this position. Customer service, grant, and debt collection experience is a big plus. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, excellent time management skills, possess strong organizational skills, and should be a proactive self-starter who works autonomously and learns quickly. Hourly pay is $18 + DOE as well as a generous benefits package including medical, vision, and retirement after required eligibility period. Benefits also include a discount on room rentals, use of the on-site childcare for dependents age 5-12 and use of the Learning Skills Center for adult dependents with intellectual disabilities.
